Sarasbaug
One km from Swargate. Surrounded by pretty green lawns on all sides. There is a Ganesh temple on a small hillock. It used to be surrounded by a lake which later made a way for the park. Many people come with kids and relax on the lawns in the evening. This place is also known as "Talyacha Ganpati" .
Empress Garden
This Garden is next to Pune
Solapur Road, This is a very big garden in 24 hectors .Here there
are many types of trees having fruits and flowers. People enjoy to
come here for picnic
Peshwa Udyan
Apart from being a zoo it has facilities for a few animal rides & boating. It is undertaken by the government ( Pune Municipal Corporation ). There is a mini train called " PHOOLRANI" to entertain small kids as well as their parents.
Bund Garden
Just five minutes Drive from Pune Station say about 2 km only. As the name suggests it is a mini dam built across Mula-Mutha river. There is arrangement for boating. A small garden next to it completes the picture. Jogging Track is just next to the Garden . This Garden is also known as " Mahatma Gandhi Udyan " . Magicians, Horse Rides to Entertain kids.

Koregaon Park just behind the Rajnish Ashram. 
Snake Park
Latest addition being a
zoo to this part, as the name suggest has a collection of snakes,
reptiles, birds & turtles . It was Set up in the year 1986 by Mr.
Neelam Kumar Khaire. It was later incorporated in the Rajeev Gandhi Udyan
in 1999. You can see more than 160 species of snakes. This Place is 8
kms. from Pune. It is near to the Katraj Bus Depot. Six seater auto rick
is available from swargate. The snake park came into being in the year
1986, with the help of Pune Municipal Corporation. It is situated on the
Pune-Satara Highway near Bharati Vidyapeeth Campus. The straight road
emanating from Swargate reaches you to the desired destination. The prize
collection is of course the six-year-old, nine feet long King Cobra.
Katraj Garden
This Place is next to
snake park 8 kms from Pune , On Pune Satara road, near the Katraj Bus
Depot. There is a small lake on one side where people can pedal boats. The
cool breeze, the peacefulness and the adjoining play park make the place
ideal for a day trip.

developed this garden very well and its the main attraction for people of
that area.
